A teacher and environmental activist, Paul, or Basil as we know him, walked into Lake Pedder as a uni student, an experience which in part shaped his involvement in the Tasmanian energy and dam’s debate, before he put his hand up to run for the Tasmanian parliament and was elected in 2010 for the seat of Braddon.
